Emily Tsui
Emily Tsui studied Philosophy at University College London and Intellectual History and Transcultural Studies at the University of Heidelberg. She is currently a predoctoral fellow at the MPIWG in Department III: Artifacts, Action, Knowledge, as part of the “Common Knowledge and Its Sources in the Sinosphere, 14th–20th Centuries” Working Group. At the MPIWG, she is working on her doctoral project which examines how the strange constituted knowledge within late-Imperial Chinese vernacular encyclopedias.
