Since January, Elena Meyer-Clement (external PI in the project “Social Worlds: China’s Cities as Spaces of Worldmaking”) is one of the general editors of The Copenhagen Journal of Asian Studies. The journal is published bi-annually, is double-blind peer-reviewed, and open access. The journal provides a platform for critical analysis of modern and contemporary Asia. It welcomes articles that draw on innovative methodologies and engage in theory development bridging local and global perspectives through interdisciplinary and comparative foci, and unifying insights from area studies, anthropology, culture and media studies, history, sociology and political science.
